Le Prélude: The First Chapter

Every story requires an opening movement.

Le Prélude marks the beginning of Hausser and the first expression of its artistic language through fragrance. The collection was conceived not simply as an introduction, but as a declaration of intent, a first glimpse into the values, emotions and disciplines that define the House.

Its name, meaning “the prelude,” was chosen with intention. In music, a prelude does not reveal the entire work. It prepares the atmosphere. It introduces the first ideas. It offers a sense of what is to come, while preserving the mystery of what remains unwritten.

Hausser Luxury Collections

So it is with Le Prélude.

Each fragrance within the collection possesses its own identity. Some are shaped by distant places and cultural memory. Others are built around music, texture, atmosphere or a fleeting emotional image. Together, they form the opening language of Hausser: precise, evocative and deeply considered.

A composition may begin with a single material, but it is never completed by material alone. Its beauty depends on proportion, tension, rhythm and silence. A luminous note may require shadow. A rich accord may demand restraint. A detail that seems almost invisible may be the very element that allows the whole to breathe.

Le Prélude is therefore not a collection of isolated fragrances. It is a series of first gestures, each revealing a different aspect of the House.

Through it, Hausser introduces its devotion to structure and emotion, to the discipline of craft and the poetry of memory. It is the first chapter, but not the final destination.

A prelude begins the music.

The rest of the House is still unfolding.
